The Kamayo
As defined by the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts of the Philippines, Kamayo belong to the Meso and central Philippine family of languages. The group are concentrated in the provinces of Agusan del Norte and Surigao del Sur.
Although I was born in Cebu City, I was raised as a Kamayo in Surigao del Sur. I know how to speak Kinamayo and Cebuano.
